CenterEdge software is a rapidly growing company that provides an industry-specific facility management and point-of-sale solution.

The position will be responsible for the overall training and educational needs for all external customers and internal employees, including oversight over regulation requirements and onboarding of all new customers.

On average, a Training Manager should spend 60% of their time managing and mentoring their staff of technical writers, content creators, and trainers; 20% of their time researching and developing training methods and materials; and 10% of their time meeting with other teams; and 10% of their time researching training needs, internally and externally.

What are your duties?

Establish/maintain/grow a certification process for positions outlined by the independent departments, specifically but not limited to Operations.

  • Work with cross-functional partners to identify current and future core capabilities necessary to achieve the organization's strategic framework.
  • Responsible for leading the development and implemetnation of an ongoing training program that ensures learning maps to business strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure learning programs are aligned with our short and long-term strategic objectives, specific business objectives and meeting the needs of the business, including annual planning.
  • Establish a Training organizational chart.

 

  • Client Support
    • Establish methodology and processes to ensure all customers are knowledgeable in the use of the software.
    • Establish/maintain/grow software onboarding and implementation processes onsite and offsite
    • Work with department heads to review customer satisfaction reporting to determine internal training and customer resource needs.
    • Establish/maintain/grow self-service learning material for the customers, e.g. software documentation, LMS programs, Webinars, etc.

 

  • Employees
    • Establish/ maintain/grow a certification process for positions outlined by the independent departmetns, specifically but not limited to Operations.
    • Establish/maintain/grow an internal Knowledge Base for the employees to be able to utilize in troubleshooting the software.
    • Establish/maintain processes the training department will follow to ensure the departmental goals and tasked are accomplished and improving.
    • Establish/monitor KPI's to measure the effectiveness of programs and instructors.
    • Ensure a trained workforce which supports retention, advancement and high performance. 
    • Hire and manage staff that will assist in accomplishing all departmental task. 

 

 What skills do you have?

  • Knowledge of learning and development best practices.
  • Have a proven track record of training program development and management.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of how talent programs integrate into the business cycle and support business objectives to execute practical, effective and simple firm-wide solutions.
  • Able to demonstrate experience in content creation, maintenance of training processes, and the successful development of ongoing training and development program.
  • Able to demonstrate growth orientation and ability to inspire the organization with their vision, authenticity, and optimism while delivering exceptional results.

Qualification Required (Education, Experience, Technical

  • Bachelor's degree (masters preferred) and a minimum of seven to ten years of leadership experience in a relevant/learning/training role from a diversified environment or other relevant industry.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals.
